Brandywine Homes to Hold Grand Opening at Palmera, Offering 23 Townhomes in Baldwin Park, Calif., on February 9

February 5th, 2019

New Community Close to Freeways, Public Transportation and Recreation

BALDWIN PARK, Calif. Brandywine Homes will hold a grand opening celebration at Palmera, a 1.52-acre community in Baldwin Park, Calif., featuring 23 three-story townhomes, on Saturday, February 9th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

At prices from $459,990 to $509,990, Palmera offers the least expensive new-home construction available today in the area, according to Zillow and other real estate sources. It is among the first of many projects planned by Brandywine to provide more affordable housing in Southern California. The median price for a home in the state has topped $600,000, a new record high and more than double the national median home price.

“As demand continues to outstrip housing supply in the San Gabriel Valley, this beautiful, family-friendly community with home prices below the median in California couldn’t be opening at a better time,” said Dave Barisic, principal in charge of sales and marketing for Brandywine Homes, a pioneer of infill development in Southern California. “This could be the perfect place for first-time homebuyers, young families or empty nesters looking to downsize who want to stay close to family and friends in the increasingly costly Los Angeles market.”

Spacious and contemporary, the three-story Spanish-style townhomes have two to four bedrooms, two-and-a-half and three-and-a-half baths and range from 1,242 to 1,737 square feet. They include large kitchens with islands and stainless-steel appliances, private balconies and decks, dens and inspired master suits with generous walk-in closets, hand-selected upscale finishes, dual sinks and separate enclosed showers (in select plans). Additionally, Palmera will include two barbecue areas with seating for outdoor family gatherings.

Located at 14799 W. Badillo Street in Baldwin Park, Palmera offers convenient access to the I-605 and the I-10 as well as the MetroLink. The community is close to Baldwin Park Aquatics Center, Azusa Pacific University and California State University, Los Angeles. The area offers many opportunities for youth athletes, and nearby Whittier has excellent hiking trails.

The sales office will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. after the grand opening. More information is available by contacting the sales office at 626-598-7790 or palmera@brandywine-home.com. To receive more information on Palmera, homebuyers can sign up for the interest list here.
